How do you get rid of tangles in curly hair?

I have naturally curly/wavy hair, and I might want to wear it naturally soon. But when I brush my hair, it just gets kinda poofy and wavy. How can I get rid of tangles without brushing my hair? How do you get rid of tangles in curly hair?
Use a lot of conditioner before drying it with a hair dryer. Only use your fingers while drying, never use a comb or brush on curly hair. It messes it up hard core.

Personally, I found letting my hair dry natrually seems to keep it the most tangle and frizz free, but I know air drying hair can take FOREVER.

Use a curl mousse and hair spray to keep it from frizzing out when wearing it naturallyHow do you get rid of tangles in curly hair?
When you wash your hair, condition it, and the tangles will just come out.
Use garnier sleek and shine.

And maybe get a straightener with hairspray.

Therefore you can get rid of the tangles.
You might not want to brush your hair, but I know they make this spray, I forget what its called but it like makes it really easy to brush through makes it not tangled.. If you want to straighten it well you probably know to use a straightner.
i have kinky hair, so my hair is tightly curled. what i do is style only when wet. brush the kinks out then. also, add a moisturizer to make sure your hair doesnt look dry and a little gel to prevent flyaway. once you have brushed out all the kinks, shake it out.
Use baby detangler or other spray on, leave in conditioners to help you get rid of tangles. The breeze in hair and just simple movement makes the curly hairs entwine so you will have to maintain it yourself also, the sprays just make the hair more slippery so they untangle easier. You can also hair spray it to get sections to stick together and not tangle, but then you get the stiff or sticky hair if you use gels etc.
Don't brush your hair while it is dry!

This will only damage it and make it frizzier. Instead, you should comb it while it is still wet, or wet it before you want to comb it. Combs are less harsh on curly hair, and don't separate the hair to the point of frizz. After combing your wet hair, let it air dry for a couple of hours. It should stay pretty tangle-free until the next day.
i recommend buying this conditioner and stocking up on it. its for color treated hair but its AMAZING!!! and since you have curly hair instead of using it like once a week, use it everytime you wash your hair. http://www.amazon.com/Loreal-Feria-Color
never brush dry curly hair. i have it and i know for a fact all you will get is a poodle-top. In order to get out knots or tangles comb it out gently in the shower while it is wet. condition and do not comb it again after. air dry. This will allow the air to naturally clump up without being knotted. The clumps form the ringlets that are appealing. If curly hair doesn't go into ringlets it just looks like a puffy mass atop your skull. thus combing out the clusters makes it into uniform fluff.

If you do wear it naturally know that it wont stay as perfectly free of fly-aways as the day goes on but resist the temptation to play with it as most of the time this leads to fluffing and no shape. try not to use to much product because then it will start to look like greasy plastic tentacles. try to avoid it altogether.
there is an amazing product called 10 it is a leave in conditioner and detangler it will make you hair instantly go limp.
