I straighten my hair then about an hour later it starts going curly/wavy.

How can i stop this from happening?

what hair straightener are you using? this is very important. i recommend the chi hair straightener. your hair will stay straight. also, use the right shampoos %26amp; conditioners. all for straightening hair. find some sprays, creams, serums to help keep your hair straight.

before you straighten it use a hair serem that is made to be used with hair straighteners. then use a hair spray after straightening it that will leave your hair soft not crunchy
Maybe you have a really crappy hair straightener,

either that, or dry putting LOTS of shine spray in your hair

(making it slightly oily) and then straighten it.
i would recommend either getting a ceramic curling iron or trying some of the following hair products:

got 2b crazy sleek {its a spray}

got 2b tipsy spray also works good

bio infusion OR biosilk

it would also help if u makes sure that your hair is completely dry before u straighten it or the moisture will just turn to frizz right away.

If you live in a high humidity area there may not be anyway. Try using products that contain Dimethicone - it helps seal the cuticle layer of the hair and repel moisture.

use a ceramic flat iron, and stay away from WATER/HUMIDITY.
use hair spray lol thats the onl way i know. or you could use hair gel
STAIGHTEN IT FOR A LONGER PERIOD OF TIME
Get a leave-in conditioner.Blow dry your hair using a round soft brisle brush.
