How can I keep my hair curly instead of having it fall in humidity?

I live in Florida, so obviously it is very humid. I like my hair curly, so I'll curl it up in the morning before I leave the house, but i'll be outside for not even a half hour and my hair will start to fall and flatten out, which looks horrible! How can I get my curls to stay put?How can I keep my hair curly instead of having it fall in humidity?
have u tried using hairspray? that usually helps it is what i use to keep my hair straight (it is naturally very curly). good brands such as tresseme and tony%26amp;guy usually last 4 a while
