How do you make your hair extra curly and not frizzy?

I originally have curly/wavy hair. I want it to be very curly and not frizzy. I take a shower at night. Any techniques? Also, what shampoo/conditioner would you suggest? How do you make your hair extra curly and not frizzy?
Check out the ';Wurly'; thread on http://forums.longhaircommunity.com. You will need to join the forum to get there.

I use conditioner only, never shampoo. That makes my wurly hair more moist and curls love moisture.

Hit your local library and check out the ';Curly Girl'; book for lots on the subject.

I use Too Shea conditioner from http://www.jessicurl.com

And ditch the hairbrush.....that brings on frizz better than anything! Just comb through your wet hair after your Conditioner Only wash, using your fingers or a very wide-toothed comb. How do you make your hair extra curly and not frizzy?
there are scrunch sprays that you can put in your hair that will make it more curly and it usually helps with the frizz too. if you don't already have layers i would get some. the more layers the better. because layers bring out the natural curl in your hair match it with scrunch spray and you have got gorgeous curls. most scrunch sprays have 1, 2, 3, 4... steps including shampooing and conditioning. i would recommend getting all of the ';steps'; in that. some of them even include a de-frizz step. i would check the bottle of the scrunch spay before buying it because some say to spray it on wet and some say to spray it on dry. if you take your showers at night before you go to bed i would recommend getting scrunch spray that says to spray in on dry and do your hair in the morning. if you take showers in the morning i would recommend getting the bottle that says to put in on wet.
It does NOT really make a difference what time of day or night you shower. Fact is, a shampoo with conditioner already in it is the best choice. This will lighten the weight in your hair as well as make it easier for the products you use to finish your look as best as possible. You want curly/wavy correct? All you have to do now is go to your nearest beauty salon, or ask your nearest proffessional, seems i can't tell what type of hair you have while on the computer. Examples: thickness, luster, coarseness, elasticity, saturation level, ph level or even color. The finishing products to get the look you want, of coarse is up to you, but this will help you be more specific with what you need exactly for the look you want!
