How to make straight hair thicker and curly without curlers or straighteners?

i have thin straight hair that has very few little waves, but it always looks flat. how can i enhance the waves and make it thicker? i heard if you apply shampoo for curly hair to straight hair it curls it, is this true??



i dont want to use hair products or curling irons as i no how to curl it that way, id like it natural waves please.How to make straight hair thicker and curly without curlers or straighteners?

ok i know some people go to extremes with this but only tease your hair by the roots but smooth out the top when your done. if this doesnt make sence heres a picture.

if u blow dry it upwards and use volumizer, it will help make a difference
