How can I straighten my short curly hair?

I want to have some bangs. My hair only goes to halfway down my forehead only when i pull it down. Its curly.How can I straighten my short curly hair?
You can get it professionally done by getting it permanently straightened, but the roots will grow back curly. You can also get your hair relaxed and straighten it yourself, it will make it easier. Or you can tough it out, buy a straightener and do it by hand. ConAir sells this amazing hair-dryer that has an attachment on it where it straightens while you blow dry it. Put hair spray on it and use a straightening iron.
you need a good quality straightener. use 'helen of troy' - that's one's good, but not as expensive as the 'Chi' (which is also good)



do NOT get conair - personal exp. - it stinks for curly haired people



also, don't use hairspray or any product before using a straightener - you're not supposed to - a good straightener will do the job itself
Just use a straightening iron.. make sure it's ceramic or else it'll damage your hair.
well, i dont have short hair, but my hair is curly. i use a straightener. it should work on short hair, though. you can buy a cheap one for like $20.
buy a straightening product to put in your hair before you actually straighten it. this will protect your hair from damage. you can find products like this at any grocery store for cheap. then use a ceramic plate straightener and start at the bottom half of your hair
there are two options for you.

1) you can get it professionally done at a salon it will last till the new hair starts to grow. then you would have to touch it up

2) you could also some styling gel on then blow dry your hair to get it straight. after that take a hair straightener with ceramic plates and run it down from root till the tip of your hair.



caution if water comes in contact with your hair after you have straightened it it will become a bit wavy. since there is a lot of heat being applied to your hair ensure that you condition it often or use hair masks to protect the hair from damage
