How do I get my hair curly and to keep it curly for a long time?



I have really strait hair and when I curl my hair it will literally only stay curly for about 5 minuets. It not the curling iron itself, because I have a great curling iron, it is my hair it does now want to stay curly.

I used hair spray, mousse I have tried everything I can to keep the curls in my hair but NOTHING works.

Any suggestions?How do I get my hair curly and to keep it curly for a long time?
Use a flat iron to curl your hair. It may sound odd but it leaves best results. I have straight hair and it kept in the curls all day.



Go to youtube and search for, How to curl hair with flat iron.

i use two hairsprays and for me they work

tresemme; curl locking (extra hold)

and

assuie; extra strong hair spray



right after it curls spray on tresemme then wait a sec then use the assuie
simple ways for straight hair to hold curls.

1. Use rollers: rollers set curls always last a long time and the longer you keep them in the longer they last (sleep in them for the best results but this may be uncomfortable (to sleep in)

2. Pin curl your hair this is fast and affective and way more comfortable than sleeping in rollers there are many videos on how to pin curl hair on youtube also this is cheap because all you need is a comb and bobby pins and your favorite hair spray

3. if you use a hot curling iron use hair spritz or some type of holding spray this is a must but warning it makes your hair hard so you wont have soft flowing curls

4. smaller tighter curls last longer

5.and if none of this works fork over some dough and go to a hair dresser

P.S the more you curl your hair the more you train it to be curly so dont be afraid to try and try.

I started curling my hair a new way with a curling iron and I seemed to notice that it works a lot better and stays a lot longer than normal. It keeps the curls long and strong!
