How do I get my hair curly and to keep it curly for a long time?

How do I get my hair curly and to keep it curly for a long time?



I have really strait hair and when I curl my hair it will literally only stay curly for about 5 minuets. It not the curling iron itself, because I have a great curling iron, it is my hair it does now want to stay curly.

I used hair spray, mousse I have tried everything I can to keep the curls in my hair but NOTHING works.

Any suggestions?How do I get my hair curly and to keep it curly for a long time?
spray hair spray on the small piece of hair you are about to curl. curl it, spray again. also with one of my friends no matter what i did to try to get her hair curly and to stay curly, it didn't work....BUT hot rollers worked! try them :) also there is some stay in hair over night curlers. you put them on over night with wet hair, take them out in the morning. but it makes your hair SUPER curly so watch out.How do I get my hair curly and to keep it curly for a long time?
well i have big natural volumness hair... so i dont use anything- but one of my friends moms works at custom cuts and she told me about this curling barette thing she got from there. when your hair is like wet or damp you put these in and overnight it curls and it stayed all day even when we had PE together. So you could try that but sometimes curly hair isnt the best to have. i have a lot of hair and my mom pretty much has a curly fro-sometimes i wish i had straight hair. It might be just easier to try and volumeize your hair (i cant spell today).... try different shampoo or that bumpet even though thats kinda weird....
