How can I get my hair to be into curly curls kinda like crinkles after I take my bath and wash my hair?

I want my hair to look like Brandi or Brandy off Basketball wives with her little curls on her head looking like she's in high school. Do you know how I can have curls after washing my hair instead of going to the beauty salon.
