I have naturally straight hair and have been trying everything to get it to stay wavy or curly. I will finally get looking natural and nice beach waves but within an hour they fall flat. Is there anything I can do about this?How do I get straight hair to stay curly or wavy?
Hey I have very straight, thick hair so when I curl it it falls out pretty quick. I have found recently though that if I use John Frieda's Curl Reviver from the Frizz-Ease collection when my hair is damp the curl holds a lot longer and the hair looks natural. I also use Wella Firm Hold hair spray after I have created each curl and because sometimes hairspray can make hair look fake and sorta of hard I spray the curl, gently brush through it so it doesn't lose it's shape and then gently respray again. I went out a few weeks ago after doing this and my curls stayed perfect all night and looked really natural and everyone said I looked really nice in the pictures. Hope I helped =)
Also I usually use a straightener to curl my hair because I don't think curlers work as well on me. Also if you're wanting the beachy look divide your hair into 4 plaits, 2 either side of the head (with wet hair) and allow it to dry. Then go over the plaits with the straighteners and also hair spray each braid and leave to cool and this will make sure the hair stays wavy longer.How do I get straight hair to stay curly or wavy?
Are you using hairspray? Get hairspray that will hold curls.
Uhmm.. What i do is when i blow dry my hair after showering is I twist my hair around my two fingers and let it goo and keep doing that untill my hairs dry. I hope it works for you cause it did for me. now my hairs wavy. Remember to put on hairspray for it to stay in shape. Good luck

How to get beachy waves with very frizzy curly hair?
I really want to try out the beachy wave look this summer. My hair is naturally curly and very frizzy. Even when I put gel in my hair, it's still a little frizzy. Putting my hair into a braid when it's wet or damp does give me waves, but it looks terrible because of my frizzy hair. Get a spray bottle
and put 2 table spoons of Sea Salt
make sure its sea salt its not the same as table salt :)
into the spray bottle with water
and conditioner ( i like to buy a special one that smells Great *Herbal Essence the purple one cnt think of what its called but it makes ur hair really great because its Special for curls and they come out nice and smooth*) Make sure ur hair is wet. Give it a wild swing. mess it up and spray the stuff on it. It works for me and leaves it smelling great :D

I have a very thick hair, have it permed and they are really cute after the hair lady put mousse on it. The problem I forgot to ask her how to use a mousse on my hair. How can I get my hair to get curly again?

You've damaged it very much. The best way is to cut off as much as you can, and then condition the heck out of it, like with a hot oil treatment. If you don't want to cut your hair, you can perm it, but then your hair would be so damaged that it would be practically like hay.
Maybe you could condition it, until your hair becomes healthier, and then perm it? It would be risky, but better than just plain perming it.

Well i'd like to change my hair to more a wavey style at the moment, it's like flatish on the top, and curly on the sides usually above and below my ears. just follow these steps

# Gather your hair at the nape of the neck. Hold it in a loose pony tail with one hand.
# Twist it up, bringing the ends toward the top of your head. Attach your hair with a barrette or clip. Arrange your curls on top of your head.
# Another option is to put your curly hair into a ponytail in the middle of your head. Secure it with a hair elastic or coated rubber band.
# Hold the end of the hair. Slowly wrap it around the ponytail into a bun. Use bobby pins to secure it in place. You may decide to leave some of the curls out and pile them on top of your head.
# A third option is to part your hair in the desired place. Create a low ponytail to the side of your neck, leaving the top of your head with some height to it.
# Fasten hair with an elastic or rubber band. Arrange curls by pinning them in various places, to create a ball of curls.
